God Of War III Development In Full Swing
Kratos has been flexing his muscles with the PlayStation brand for quite some time now and everyone has been excited about the supposed final chapter in the trilogy. The word around Santa Monica Studios is that development for God of War III has finally picked up steam, with a new batch of highly talented employees being recruited during the last few months. According to sources the core structure of the game has already been completed and now the team is focused on matching the game with other quality PlayStation 3 titles. They expect to see the final product hitting shelves around Q1 2010 in a similar vein of the other titles in the series.
An important note for the reader before jumping to conclusions about the release date, the expected release date is a developer’s outlook and subject to change since Sony has the final word on the ultimate release.
P.S. Don’t be surprised to see a Killzone 2 sort of demo at E3 2009.

not a long wait…its expected…that is the time frame this series has always released on…look at it as their good luck card…
Plus with all the announced games in 2009…I think this would be a good move for sony to start its 2010 fiscal year with a bang…

Release this Game when finished, and not a day earlier. Somewhere between fall ‘09 and spring ‘11 would be nice, but 4 the love of God, release it only when it it’s properly finished & kickin’ everybody’s ass, just like the previous games did. I did not buy a PS3 @ launch 2 see my beloved games rushed out in mediocracy, and next month we’ll get a pretty good example of that policy.

Cant wait tht long!!!!!!!1 more fuckin year……thts gona kill me..this game was the reason i bought a ps3..and now 1 more year…i think..it will be 2010 march…..coz..gow has a history of releasing titles in march…….

a year isnt too long just look at the time they put into killzone 2…. if they do it right they can get the quality the cg trailer had and it would be worth the wait…. plus there is like a thousand good games to hold ppl over till 2010…. smart move i think

Yeah, I don’t think they’ll make fall 09 as they planned, Q1/Spring 2010 sounds right. Hasn’t every past GoW game been released in March? So it wouldn’t be surprisng to see it come in March 2010. Can’t wait, hopefully it’s as ace as the past titles.

I wouldn’t be too dissapointed if God Of War 3 doesn’t make it this year - i’m more looking forward to Final Fantasy XIII, Gran Turismo 5 and Uncharted 2 anyway.

“According to the “sources”" ?? What sources? BS. Until an actual developer or lead dev or whoever comes out and confirms it, I don’t believe it. Especially not from some “artist” nobody.
