Bank of Canada Governor Tiff Macklem says he believes Canada is “turning a corner” on inflation, but doesn’t rule out the country could slip into a “mild recession.” In an exclusive English-language interview with CTV National News Ottawa bureau chief Joyce Napier, Macklem encouraged Canadians to prepare a “buffer” to weather “tougher times.”
