Women, older adults and those on lower incomes are more likely to take sleep aids, the survey found

Millions of Americans say they regularly turn to medication to help them fall asleep or stay asleep, a practice that experts say can be dangerous to their health. A new study found that about 8% of US adults reported taking sleep aids every day or most days, with use being more common among women, the elderly, or those with lower income levels.
